Bali Inspirasi.Accor Hotels Bali & Lombok Introduces the New Social Care Oriented initiative
NUSA DUA -BALI, February 2019 – Accor Hotels Bali & Lombok introduces its latest initiative in a community that is oriented to social care, driven by Accor’s determination to
provide a better and more beneficial life through hotel linen that is already unused, but still in a condition worthy of use.
Also to support the community
less capable and at the same time empowering the community and giving them hope for a brighter future.
“Linens for Life” is the name of this Initiative activity and the main reason for this activity is to support The Street Center which was established by the Bali Life Foundation.
.the foundation’s noble goal is to bring women and children out of poverty by giving them education, schools, and activities to help them start a new life.
The mission of this initiative is to train community members to create useful products from unused hotel linen. Results of these products.
expected to contribute to the improvement of their daily lives, which in turn makes them escape poverty.
The training is conducted twice a week, with around 5 to 10 participants. at the training site, participants were shown and trained to make all kinds of useful products from hotel linens that were no longer used.
the results of the ‘artwork’ that has been created will be exhibited exclusively through the spectacular “Passion” fashion show at the Gala Dinner and will be held for fundraising on March 23, 2019 at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua.
This event is expected to be attended by up to 200 invited guests, including Hotel Owners and GM Hotels
Accor in Bali & Lombok, celebrities, and other invited guests.
Cocktail events on the evening of the Gala Dinner will feature collections from the Woman Street Center foundation, where the collection is available for sale / auction to the guests present.
a dinner with a 4-set menu will accompany the show and fashion auction featuring 67 ready-made collections (in the category of casual, night clothes and nightgowns),
The creation of alumni from the famous Indonesian fashion designer school, Susan Budiharjo.
Susan Budiharjo is widely known as one of the senior fashion designers in Indonesia and his deep passion for the fashion world has encouraged him to establish a Fashion Teaching Institute Susan Budiharjo (Institute of Fashion Design Education Susan Budiharjo) in 1980.
since then, Susan Budiharjo’s school has given birth to many designers
talented young people in Indonesia such as Sebastian Gunawan, Eddy Betty, Andrian Gan, Irsan, Didi Budiarjo, Denny Wirawan, and many more.
a beautifully packaged entertainment will also complement the fundraising night, featuring a sweet melody and cunning singer Eva Scolaro and Celebrity MC from Jakarta. Melissa Karim.
all proceeds from tonight will be channeled to Accor Hotels Bali & Lombok funds to support various other CSR activities throughout Indonesia.
